6082 aluminium alloy has the highest strength of all the 6000 series alloys. Often referred to as a '
structural alloy' 6082 is used predominantly in highly stressed applications such as trusses, cranes
and bridges. Thealloy offers excellent corrosion resistance and hasreplaced 6061 in many applications.
The extruded finish is not as smooth and therefore not as aesthetically pleasing as other alloys in the
6000 series.

Our Samples
For oversize sheet, we use Flat Rack Container for shipping
1) We use suitable securing material, such as wooden blocks, steel straps, and ratchet
tie-downs to firmly fix the aluminum plates to the flat rack.
2) To prevent possible exposure to seawater or rain, we cover the entire cargo with
waterproof tarps.
3) We make sure these sheets are loaded with a low and evenly distributed center of
gravity to avoid tilting during the transportation.
